pound cake is a type of cake traditionally made with a pound of each of four ingredients: flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. pound cakes are generally baked in either a loaf pan or a bundt mould, and served either dusted with powdered sugar, lightly glazed, or sometimes with a coat of icing. but here i have made this tasty and tempting cake in a non-stick wok by placing stand into it, and baked it by covering for 35-45 minutes. so, here is the recipe that how i have made this spongy and delicious cake. let's look at the ingredients.

Ingredients

milk - 3/4 cup
vinegar - 1 tsp
refined flour/ maida - 1 cup
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1/3 tsp
butter/or clarified butter - 2 tbsp
cooking oil - 2 tbsp
powdered sugar/icing sugar/confectioners sugar - 4 tbsp
vanilla extract - 1 tsp
condensed milk - 1/2 cup

Method

1. in a glass pour 3/4 cup milk and 1 tsp vinegar mix it, and keep it aside.

2. now, take a mixing bowl and put a strainer upon it then start adding refined flour, baking powder, baking soda. strain all the ingredients to remove the lumps, now keep it aside.

3. again, take another bowl and add butter(or you can use clarified butter instead), oil, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. whisk them untill the batter gets little fluffy.

4. now add condensed milk to it and start whisking again.

5. add the dry ingredients to it, do not add the dry ingredients alltogether as this will forms the lumps into the batter, add dry ingredients and milk partially and whisk the batter in one circular motion whether it's left or right. 

6. now, grease the cake tin with butter/ghee/oil, or you can use butter paper instead, then pour the batter into the cake tin and gently tap the tin

7. place a wok or deep pan on gas stove and put a stand in the wok, preheat the wok by covering it for 5 minutes.

8. after 5 min, place the cake tin on the stand and cover it. we have to bake our cake on medium flame for 35-45 min. if you are using oven so, you can bake the cake on preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 40-50 min.

9. to check the cake that its cooked or not use a pointed knife or toothpick, prick it in the cake if the batter doesn't stick on toothpick that means your cake is ready to serve.

10. now, demould the cake and serve it.
