Chocolate burfi recipe 

Introduction :

chocolate burfi is perfect for kids, made using mawa. but today i have used milk powder to make this recipe more quickly. this recipe is quick and easy to make for any festival. chocolate burfi is two layered burfi recipe. bottom layer is plain white burfi while the top layer is cocoa flavoured chocolate burfi.

this instant chocolate burfi from milk powder is going to be very amazing and delicious. milk powder burfi is one of anyone's favourite picks when you are looking for exciting and easy milk powder recipe. if you love chocolate and indian sweets then this could be amazing. Normally, indians gives sweet gifts during any indian festival to their near one, and this can be the best option for that. and i am sure that your kids will love this sweet and , this sweets will be vanished away with in few seconds.😂😄

Ingredients :

For white layer :

1 and 1/2 cup of milk powder
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tsp ghee/1-2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup milk 
pinch of cardamom powder

For chocolate layer :

1 and 1/2 cup milk powder
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tsp ghee/1-2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup milk 
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder

Other ingredients :

-few drops ghee for greasing 

Procedure :

white layer :

1. take a wide and heavy bottom pan, add in ghee, milk, milk powder and stir it few for minutes till mixed well.

2. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix well, stir it continuously till mixture becomes thick, it will take 7-8 minutes on low to medium flame.

3. grease a plate or an aluminium tin with a few drops ghee, pour the mixture and spread it evenly using a spoon or spatula, apply little ghee on it and spread it to avoid sticking the mixture. keep aside and let it cool down for 1 hour.

For chocolate layer :

1. in the same pan, add ghee, milk, milk powder and stir it till mixed well.

2. Add powder sugar and mix well, stir it till becomes thick mixture or 5-6 minutes.

3. Add cocoa powder and mix well, again stir it till the texture gets smooth.

4. Now pour the prepared mixture over the white layer, spread it evenly, again use spoon or spatula applying little ghee, and make the surface smooth and flat.

5. let it cool down for 2-3 hours, for quick cooling you can place the tin into the refridgerator for 1-2 hours.

6. Now the mixture becomes hard, cut the burfi into desired shape either its diagonal or square.
