Introduction
methi paneer is a delicious paneer curry where paneer cubes are cooked in a spicy gravy along with dried fenugreek leaves. it is very easy to make. when i tried this recipe i really loved it, evenly it was a fantastic experience of making this recipe.

Ingredients
oil - 4 tbsp
garlic - 3 tsp finely chopped
onion - 1 cup finely chopped
ginger - 1 inch grated
yogurt/dahi - 1/4 cup
all purpose flour/maida - 1 tsp
coriander powder/dhania powder - 2 tsp
kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 tsp
turmeric powder/haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
salt - as required
fresh cream - 2 tbsp
kasuri methi - 2 tbsp
paneer/cottage cheese - 200 gms
lemon juice - 2 tsp
For tadka
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp garlic chopped
Method
1. heat oil in heavy bottom pan/wok
2. once the oil is hot , add garlic and fry for a few seconds.
3. add onion and ginger and fry untill turns slightly brown
4.whisk yogurt with flour and add it in the pan
5. cook for a minute
6. add coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt.
7. add little water and cook for a minute.
8. add paneer, cream, kasuri methi, lemon juice and cook for 2-3 minutes.
9.add water if required and cook for another minute.
For tadka
1. heat ghee in a pan
2. when the ghee is hot, add garlic and fry till they turn light brown.
3. pour the tadka over the curry
4. serve hot with parantha, naan, lacchha parantha and rice.
